How to Recover Lost Data from Malfunctioned USB Flash Drive

“USB device not recognized!”
“The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it. ”
‘The folders and files in the USB flash drive are not opening.”

This is one patient USB flash drive with above errors from one Dolphin user in China. It’s not possible to recover the lost data by data recovery software only because the patient drive is very unstable.

How to Extract Firmware Modules from SA Region Automatically

Within DFL-WD hdd firmware repair tool, users get one very helpful firmware repair function: to extract firmware modules from SA region.

To read Western Digital hard drive firmware modules, the firmware repair software usually needs to read module directory(module map) and then read other firmware modules according to module directory.
