Access Time – The time required in which a specific amount of data and information originates from its source and reaches its destination completing its read and write functions.

Example: hard drive, RAM and its delivery time.  DRAM (dynamic random access memory) chips for personal computers have access times of 50 to 150 nanoseconds (billionths of a second). Static RAM (SRAM) has access times as low as 10 nanoseconds.

Within out hdd repair and data recovery jobs, if we say the access time of the hard drive is longer than we expected, there can be failures such as bad sectors or other logical failures with the disks.
