SSD Data Recovery Knowledge Base: Physical Failure

It’s common SSDs have physical failures causing data loss and users need to fix the physical failures to recover the lost data.

The following are common SSD physical failures:

01: The patient SSD is totally silent/dead caused by the corrupted power connector or main controller IC;
02: The patient SSD may generate popping or buzzing sounds caused by PCB failure or controller failure;
03: The patient SSD may become very hot/overheating or suffer swelling deformation;
04: The patient SSD has physical components burning or suffered a short circuit.
