WDC WD7500BPVT-80HXZT3 Undetected HDD Data Recovery Steps

This is one data recovery case study fixed perfectly for one Dolphin user in Colombia by Dolphin remote technique support system.

Hard drive model: WD7500BPVT-80HXZT3;  Capacity: 750GB;  Head number: 4;
Symptom: ID undetected; firmware module empty; slow detection.

By separating the head contacts, Dolphin engineer entered the WD firmware repair program,  backup the original ROM and then bypass SA to write the new ROM, after power off and on the drive, the engineer could access the hdd in normal mode.

Next the engineer went to backup the firmware modules, at this time, the ATA modules are important. After reading the ATA modules, the engineer could use DFL-WD to load all ATA modules automatically.

After the ATA modules were loaded, engineer could read and write the modules, that’s to say, the engineer can use DFL quick common failure solutions. User just need to simply click SLOW FIX 1 and SLOW FIX 2 and then check the log window for results to see if these two quick solutions were run successfully.

After users just need to write back original ROM and power off and on and enter DFL-DDP data recovery program, all the lost data were perfectly listed there. The user can select the wanted files to recover easily.
