Bus – It is a collection of a wide range of connections and wires, which are necessary for the functioning of a computer. It is a set of conductors which is used within the central processing unit as well as in the external memory. The greater the width of the bus, the higher its performance will be. Its width is described in terms of the number of parallel connectors.
