Graphics Adapter – A graphics adapter is defined as a video card that can fit into the video slot or interface on a computer motherboard. Video interfaces have developed a lot over the years, and the most recent example of that is the evolvement from Advanced Graphics Port (AGP) to Peripheral Component Interconnect Express, or PCI Express (PCIe). The newer interface has allowed rapid interpretation of images to fulfil standards that are becoming more and more demanding.
