ISA–The ISA stands for Industry Standard Architecture. It is a typical 16-bit AT bus planned by the IBM for the PC/AT system. Industry Standard Architecture was a distinctbus for PCs till the release of MCA (MicroChannel Architecture), EISA and PCI, which stand for Extended Industry Standard architecture and Peripheral Component Interconnect respectively.
